DID YOU KNOW? That L’Hoest’s monkey do not swing in tree like other monkey species

That L’Hoest’s monkey do not swing in tree like other monkey species even though they eat and sleep in trees. They instead climb down when they are in need to go to another tree. This in combination to other factor like deforestation and hunting have left these primates reduced in numbers hence forcing International Union for Conservation of Nature to list the species as vulnerable.

They are found in Uganda and Rwanda and they can be easily identified from a far due to its white beard and bright orange eyes and the dark coat.
When interested in seeing these moneys one should book a primate to Uganda or Rwanda or both.
