Chimp tracking

Chimp tracking is also another thrilling activity that is carried out at the park and they occur in several groups within the park in the morning or evening. Chimps are the closest relative of man and differ from human by only 1.3% DNA make up. Chimps can be tracked at Rabongo or Budongo Forest reserve at Kaniyo-Pabidi Eco-tourism Centre where you will be guided by a tour guide to a forest walk to search different primate species coupled with chimpanzees. Other primate species which can be tracked out include black and white colobus, red tailed monkeys, Olive baboon, and bush babies among others. The walk in search of these primates can take between 1-4 hours.
